Bug Shields
 Bug Shields are zipped encasements made to surround the individually the bed base and the mattress to prevent bed bug harborages and consequently their faeces soiling.
Shields are made from a ladder-proof white stretchable polyester material with a design award winning bug proof zipper (Buglock) at one end.
They are made in the full range of bed sizes to ensure a snug fit for mattresses/bases with depths from 16 to 30cm.
Hoteliers by being pro-active with fitting shields before the bed bugs visit, save money and time in several ways - easier visual inspections - no fabric soiling - much quicker steam treatment time - alleviates discarding of beds - minimal room down time.
Ideally the Bug Shield is then covered by the Cleanstay waterproof mattress protector, which, while providing optimum protection against all liquid stains, offers additional protection against damage for the shield itself.
Mattress & Pillow Protectors
Our Cleanstays mattress protectors are made to commercial standards and are a barrier to liquids and dust mites to ensure your mattress always remains dry and mite free. They comprise an absorbent terry cotton top and laminated to a 100% water proof and breathable Polyurethane underlay. Unlike some cheaper Asian imports, Cleanstays do not possess any carcinogenic anti-fungal agents such as Cadmium.
 They are a super light, fitted sheet style providing easy of fitting and removal for laundering. The protector is gathered under the mattress with an elasticised band so they will fit snugly. The Cleanstays range withstands repeated laundering at up to 95oC.
To maintain the quality and cleanliness/dryness of a mattress and obtain protection from bed bugs, a mattress protector should be installed over the top of a bug shield.
Cleanstay mattresses are covered by a 2 year warranty and have attained the Oeko-Tex certification which guarantees the ecological quality and absence of harmful substances. The Australian government has classified the Cleanstays mattress protectors as health products - hence they are GST FREE (except for the cot sizes for some strange reason).
